PepsiCo Design + Innovation thinks like a nimble design incubator

We devised a new tone of voice strategy for the PepsiCo Design + Innovation Center, bringing a unique and ownable voice to this extraordinary arm of the company, yielding new positioning, audience strategy, and a digital voice style guide.

We also elevated the social strategy, developing strategic content buckets, enhancing their collaboration with global partners, and implementing that strategy through high-engagement caption copy.

Global strategy

We devised storytelling for their Design + Innovation Books, working directly with Chief Design Officer Mauro Porcini to create a retrospective of hundreds of award-winning PepsiCo projects across the world.

We also crafted copy for Mauro’s In Your Shoes podcast, penning bios for its design luminaries, and marketing copy promoting the episodes on their website and social media.

We led a strategic overhaul of their case studies and created a bespoke questionnaire to extract details from designers, restructuring the storytelling for (and producing) 100+ case studies.

Telling stories

We also help Pepsico executives showcase the design team’s successes and innovations through social channels, share ideas about the current and future state of design, and celebrate the accomplishments of colleagues, all while reflecting their personal voice.

We also configure stories differently per medium, shifting gears tonally, with nuance, for LinkedIn vs Instagram vs TikTok.
