Case study
What does self-care look like for the next generation?
Evereden has been answering that question since 2018. As the brand prepared for a major Sephora expansion, Antonym helped turn that answer into a category-defining narrative.
The challenge wasn’t just making skincare appealing to Gen Alpha. It was creating desire without creating insecurity. Building a brand kids could want, parents could trust, and a major retailer could confidently scale.
Approaching Gen Alpha
In the world of fillers, filters, and shop now skinification, some brands see nothing but dollar signs in Gen Alpha. Those brands target kids with adult messages, selling them products to solve imaginary problems.
Evereden sees things differently, and it was our job to shape that vision across their tagline, brand story, product marketing, and retail experience.
Together, we agreed: Kids don’t need another product to covet, problem to “fix,” or routine that doesn’t live in their reality. They deserve confidence, independence, safety, inspiration, and the space to celebrate who they are right now.
Kids needed aspiration without societal pressure.
Parents needed trust and security.
Sephora needed one story to stretch across an expanding portfolio.
We identified white space between products that felt too basic and those that brought adult beauty anxieties into childhood too soon. The strategic choice was clear. Rather than sell kids a problem to fix, give them a healthier, honest path into self-care.
That meant shifting the story toward the excitement and discovery of growing up. Antonym incorporated that idea into a narrative arc that could run across skincare, haircare, suncare, and fragrance.
A narrative that can scale
Evereden can now grow beyond any one product. And we created language that could translate into a major retail environment and make sense quickly to kids, parents, and first-time shoppers.
Ahead of Evereden’s February 2026 expansion into 400 U.S. Sephora stores, we developed and refined the product copy supporting the launch.
With expansion to all 1,800 U.S. stores planned by 2027, Evereden had a narrative designed to scale with it.
